West Village Townhouse

This landmarked townhouse in the West Village needed major structural remediation to address considerable settling of the foundation due to neighboring construction.

We used this opportunity to rethink of how the couple might entertain in the townhouse now that their kids have grown up. A rear yard addition, with large glass opening, a third floor roof terrace and a landscaped yard allow for seamless interior/exterior experience.

New brownstone lintels and stoop, repaired brick and restored ironwork will further enhance this 19th century home.
